“The Abductions” addresses the loss of freedom of the young women from Chibok, Nigeria at the hands of the militant kidnappers. The huddled young women are relying on each other for security. The barbwire reinforces the prison like conditions and signifies that opponents need not approach. The woman have been stripped of their individual identity and aspirations, they have become a commodity to be bought, traded and sold.
