UNTITLED, MELTING. (Exhibition Concept Piece)
UNTITLED, MELTING. Utilizes the literal erosion of ice-cast figures inside a heavy industrial steel basin to interrogate human containment and systemic erasure. The work plays on a searing poetic irony: the very mechanism of “freezing” people within a bureaucratic apparatus is undone by the environment, causing both authority figures and civilians to dissolve. As their distinct forms and uniforms melt away, the rigid power dynamics collapse into a singular, shared puddle of water—a powerful critique of the artificiality of institutional power and the precarity of human identity within it.
