National commission by the Democratic National Committee in Washington, D.C., selected Keith Francis to be the official artist for the 2004 Democratic National Convention held in Boston, Massachusetts on July 26–29, 2004.
Articles and interviews about the poster were featured in The Boston, Globe, Boston Herald, The Standard Times, CBS, C–SPAN and BBC television. Francis appeared in poster signing at the Hyatt Regency Boston, Faneuil Hall Marketplace and FleetCenter (TD Garden) in Boston, Massachusetts during the four day convention.
A limited edition of 1,500 and 500 signed posters sold out during the convention. The posters reside in private and corporate collections worldwide.
